The starting point
What if that little boat is waiting for a passenger who has forgotten the meeting place?
Elena collects tiny observations: the shade of an old doorway, a flower growing through stone, a boat that never seems to move. Her fictional voice is attentive and lightly mischievous. She likes a question with two plausible answers more than a dramatic declaration.
Try a small variation
Change one object, not the entire scene. Make the ticket a folded map, move the notebook to a window seat, or give the imagined walk a different destination. One change offers a clear invitation without turning the conversation into a list of instructions.
Make the next choice yours
The persona can suggest a possibility, but you decide whether the story follows it. Ask for a different tone, disagree with a fictional explanation, or bring the exchange to a close. There is no obligation to continue a scene that has stopped being enjoyable.
